Italian streets, masterpieces to traverse

Renting a car is the best option to visit Italy. All its treasures are often located in remote areas, sometimes difficult to access without a car. This is the only way to fully discover and enjoy the typical regional characteristics, tastes, perfumes, local heroes, cultural heritage and habits.
Travel over the Nastro Azzurro, a 50 km itinerary through the wonderful Amalfi Coast or choose the Strada del Pecorile to enjoy the amazing landscapes of Tuscan hills. Whichever is the destination, Italy will surprise you even when driving a car.

The Belpaese is the best scenery for car travels, a kind of trip which allows you to discover hidden places or ancient villages, feeling free to stop anytime, anywhere.
Liberty is the watchword for travellers, it's that feeling of driving for miles and miles with your mind at ease.
Discover our selected itineraries, where the route covered and the car driven blend into a unique experience.

Our recommended itineraries offer some of the world's most beautiful landscapes and properly represent every typical regional characteristic, as the 6 km route - Strada della Forra, which connects Tremosine with the Lake of Garda or the 225 km route - Passo dello Stelvio, which takes you up to 2700 meters above sea level.

It's difficult to choose the most beautiful route but it may be cool to drive along the Amalfi Coast with a Fiat 500 or up to the Dolomites with a Land Rover Discovery and through the Tuscan fields with a Toyota C-HR Hybrid.
Thanks to the short-term rental you can decide which is the best option for you.

Garda Lake

Desenzano sul Garda - Salò

Pretend to be James Bond for one day and drive yourself through the sinuous bends and tunnels during the next route. Our tour is inspired by the famous pursuit in the 007 Quantum of Solace 2008 movie. We tried to remake the scene in one of the most beautiful Italian backgrounds.

Costiera Triestina

Strada Regionale 14

Along the Carso upland, rich in calcareous rocks, you can find the wonderful Città dei Venti, which is like a bridge between the boot and the European continent. After roughly 60 years from Trieste liberation from Yugoslav occupation - thanks to the Bersaglieri - it is still fascinating to have a walk along the Canal Grande or up to San Giusto Castle to admire the wonderful panorama or even tasting a coffee in Piazza Unità d'Italia which is the main square in Trieste. This selected route will make you love one of the most beautiful Italian places.

The Friuli - Venezia Giulia route is pretty short - just 11 kilometres - but super intriguing. The Strada Costiera of Trieste, opened in 1928, developing through cliffs and karst rocks, offers a fantastic view on Trieste gulf. The route starts from Sistiana with its gorgeous Porto Piccolo heading towards Santa Croce Mare with its amazing Chiesa dell'Invenzione, then up to Grignano and Miramare. Here you can admire a pearl of the Adriatic sea: the Miramare Castle, built just before the unification of Italy and surrounded by vast gardens. If you're thinking of visiting around (there is a museum nowadays), spend the proper time to visit it.

Umbria

Perugia - Spoleto

Enjoy  the Italian green heart, famous for its typical Medieval villages, unspoiled nature and amazing woods. Car run-arounds will be a good reason to set up a gastronomic tour where you can experience natural unknown local tastes, in addition to the more famous truffles and wines.

Umbrian cooking is a continuous discovery of uncommon tastes and traditions.  For, this route is dedicated to Umbrian cooking wonders which are different at every stop-over. Intentionally omitting chocolate, let's start from Perugia to taste its arvortolo - a kind of fried pizza with local ham - and the famous parmigiana di gobbi (known as parmigiana di cardi, in the rest of the country). Our itinerary reaches Assisi where we can taste the rocciata - a strudel-like sweet with walnuts, honey and dried fruit. Now we leave towards Gubbio, the Grey City, with its friccò all'eugubina - stewed chicken served in a crock. The journey finishes in Spoleto, to eat strangozzi, thick handmade fettuccine which perfectly go together with norcina sauce. It's now time to look for a good pastry shop and have a good Umbrian torciglione - a spiral-like sweet with almonds. Bon appetit!
