B-Rent provides you with continuous and extensive roadside assistance. If you had a traffic collision, it would be necessary to report us a written account, reconstructing the accident dynamics. You should also fill the CAI (road accident acknowledgment) form, together with the other driver involved in the crash. In case you forget to deliver these crucial records, you will be considered as the only liable person for the reparation costs. If you wish, repair costs for eventual minor damages, might be paid as soon as you return your hire car to its location.

When the vehicle failure is not caused by the driver, or in case of a traffic collision, B-Rent will render assistance and remove the vehicle from the spot. Then, you will be provided a replacement car.
In case your hire car is stolen, you should immediately call the local police and then the car hire where you picked up the vehicle. Besides, you should provide us a copy of the theft report delivered by the police. For further information, please check our Rental Terms & Conditions. Your financial liability is strictly related to the excess reduction you asked for, when you signed your rental agreement.
All our hire cars are equipped with spare temporary tyre/repair kit. In case your vehicle gets a flat tyre, you should be able to replace the wheel/repair the tyre on your own. If you cannot reach one of our locations, just call our customer service team, that will provide you the necessary details to replace the tyre at the nearest B-Rent partner workshop. Remember to issue the invoice to B-Rent (you can find our company data are on your rental agreement).
If you are planning to enjoy hiking or mountain climbing, travelling in extremely cold weather areas, don’t forget to fill the tank with antifreeze liquid, each time you refuel your hire car.
In case of fuel freezing, we suggest waiting for the warmest hours of the day, before trying to restart the engine. Alternatively, you might keep your hire car in a closed environment, away from the harsh outside climate. Once the vehicle starts again, you should fill the tank with antifreeze liquid.
We always test our vehicles before any rental. Routine inspections (such as: engine oil level and antifreeze liquid check, tyre pressure monitoring etc.) are carried out considering the mileage travelled. However, you should always pay attention to the warning lights on your hire car dashboard, in order to report us any eventual anomalies.
Where necessary, you can cross the national borders on your hire car, but you should compulsorily return it to the Italian location scheduled, when the rental period is over. If you are thinking to cross the national borders by sea, embarking your hire car, the host State could ask for a specific written authorisation. Please, always be careful to the traffic signs, especially the ones showing the speed limits (in km/h). Remember that exceeding the speed limits might entail withdrawal of the driving licence. Driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and non-use of a seat belts, are strictly forbidden. Children under 11 years old cannot travel without using a specific restraint system. We suggest parking only within the suited parking area and paying the eventual parking ticket when required.
