Limited Traffic Zone in Cagliari (ZTL)
The city of Cagliari is subject to some limitations concerning the traffic circulation in the Old Town, which is split in six different ZTL, monitored by thirteen cameras.
Stampace Alto ZTL is active from 9:00pm to 9:00am, and from 3:30pm to 5:00pm. Stampace Basso ZTL is active from 7:30am to 10:30am, and from 3:30pm to 5:00pm. The access to Marina and Villanova ZTL is limited every day from 3:30pm to 5:00pm, while the ZTL of Castello and Poetto are in effect respectively from 00:00am to 9:00am and from 9:00pm to 6am.

Customers must return the rented vehicles in excellent condition of cleanliness. If the vehicle is not clean upon return, the customer will have to pay a cleaning fee of €15.
At the time of vehicle pickup, it is possible to purchase the PREPAID CAR WASHING service for €15.00.
If the rented vehicle is returned in excellent condition of cleanliness, there will be no charges at pick-up or drop-off.

At Cagliari airport, the staff were kind and competent. The car was in excellent condition, and the price was affordable.

Reading the reviews, I was afraid of surprises, but having booked directly with them via email... they explained the options to us through email, and we chose the Free to Drive option. Category EDMR (C3 or similar) Free to Drive = €550 (zero deductible for theft and damage) and a €90 deposit from August 16 to August 21. It’s true that the car was missing a hubcap and the front tires were deflated... but we encountered no surprises or issues. For the period, the price is more than fair, especially considering I booked in June.
